The Eucalyptus

The Eucalyptus (14 Hativat Yerushalayim Street, Jerusalem) – located a few minutes by foot from Jaffa Gate, this restaurant stands out, not only because it’s located within an ancient stone building, but because it serves dishes inspired from biblical scenes (prepared by celebrity chef Moshe Basson). Such items include Jacob and Esau’s lentil stew, Hubeza (a warm salad prepared in the style of the “siege of Jerusalem”), and biblical couscous “from the days of King Solomon”. That, as well as local dishes such as figs stuffed with chicken, Jerusalem artichoke soup, and slow-cooked lamb.
