No 99 Bus in Jerusalem — One of the best things a tourist in Jerusalem can do is to hop on and off the comfortable double-decker No 99 Bus, which stops at more than 20 of the major landmarks and tourist attractions in Jerusalem. Or, stay on the bus, relax and enjoy a two hour journey through Jerusalem.
Also known as the city tour bus, the bus departs from the Central Bus Station on Jaffa Road. A personal guided tour is available as well as a personal listening device in eight languages (Hebrew, Arabic, English, French, German, Russian, Italian and Spanish). The bus timetable can be found here:
No 99 Bus Fares — A single ticket where you remain on the bus costs NIS 60. A day excursion with the option to hop on and off the bus costs NIS 80. A ticket valid for 24 hours costs NIS 100 and one for 48 hours costs NIS 130. Ticket-holders can enjoy special offers such as lower entrance fees to attractions like the Time Elevator. There are also special discounts for soldiers and senior citizens. Groups over 50 can be accommodated between Sunday and Thursday, though advance co-ordination is required. Booking and payment in cash is done through the driver on the bus or through hotel reception. Bus hours are shorter on Fridays and the bus does not run at all on Saturdays.
