Tower of David Museum (Jaffa Gate, Old City, Jerusalem) – located in the medieval citadel known as the Tower of David (near Jaffa Gate – the historic entrance to the Old City), this museum details the major events in the city’s history (going as far back as the second millennium BC, up until the establishment of the State of Israel). The Citadel’s towers offers a panoramic view of Jerusalem’s Old City, as well as its modern districts. Visitors are advised to see the highly-recommended open air sound & light show (The Night Spectacular) – which tells the story of the city going back in time. Admission (museum and The Night Spectacular): NIS 70 (adult), NIS 55 (seniors, students, children 3-18 years), NIS 40 (soldiers and disabled).
