Independence Hall (16 Rothschild Blvd., Tel Aviv) – this is a museum dedicated to the signing of the Israeli declaration of independence and the history of Tel Aviv. There are various exhibits devoted to the creation of the State of Israel. Until 1971, this site housed the Tel Aviv Museum of Art. Visitors can listen to the original recording of the ceremony and view a 16-minute film describing the events of the period and the history of the building. Admission: NIS 20 (adult), NIS 16 (student / child), NIS 10 (seniors). Hours: 9 am – 5 pm (Sunday – Thursday), 9 am – 2 pm (Friday). Closed Saturday.
