Darna

Darna (3 Horkanos Street, Jerusalem) – this kosher restaurant serves Moroccan cuisine (a nod to the Moroccan Jewish immigrants who have made their way to Israel over the years). Housed in a 200 year old building in the heart of Jerusalem, the décor is consistent with the Moroccan theme. Dishes served here range from Lamb tagine with seasonal vegetables or fruits, to Tangia Marrakshia (lamb shank cooked slowly in an earthenware jar with preserved lemon, onion and cumin), and Atlas Mountain Couscous (beef couscous with seven vegetables: pumpkin, red and green bell peppers, onion, carrot, celery, turnip & cabbage).
